Oh, I have so many memories of school Valentines Day parties, don’t you? I remember picking out a cheap box of generic tear-apart cards at the store, spending the night before painstakingly writing each of my classmates’ names on their cards, taping a piece of candy to it, and loading them into a brown paper bag to take with me to school. I remember decorating our Valentines Day “mailboxes” at school, going around the room and delivering the Valentines while everyone waited (impatiently), and then digging into the loot! It seems like Valentines Day is one of the only real “holidays” left at school…everything else has become too controversial to be celebrated or even acknowledged by a school party. Sad face. So these kids have to really live it up through their school valentines parties!
A few weeks ago I posted a round-up of 50 free printable non-candy Valentines, which is a great place to find some inexpensive ideas for DIY school valentines. But I recently discovered that my absolutely favorite printing site, Minted.com, has an entire line of ridiculously adorable and unique Kids Valentines Day Cards!! You really have to go browse through them, just because they’re so stinkin’ cute.
Check out this “I think you’re a-mazing-ing” card with real gold foil!
Or this “School of Fish” valentine? It would be perfect to pair with a bag of goldfish crackers.
I am loving this “Color My World” foil card, too. How cute would it be tied onto a box of crayons?
In fact, I kind of want to buy a set to give out to MY friends! I love the typography and design on this “Global Love” card!
The Minted line of Classroom Valentines Day Cards come in all sorts of cute die-cut shapes and size with coordinating card backers, plus they offer matching customizable stickers for each design. You could get all of the same card, or – if you have trouble picking, like me – get a variety to mix and match! You can even choose a photo design – like this “I Like You a Bot” card – and include a picture of your cute kiddo on their valentines. I can see those being adored by the teachers or grandparents!
So if you’re looking for some really top-notch (and stress-free!) Valentines for your kiddos to take to school, you’re sure to find one at Minted. Completely hassle free, and your kids will have the cutest valentines around!
