My to-do list is always longer than I will ever have time to accomplish. I’m sure none of you know that feeling…or do you? ;-)
But it’s true in my blog-life, too! I have an enormously long to-do list of crafts, recipes, and other ideas that look great…and I know I will never get around to trying them all out!
So I decided to start “Original Fridays” here on unOriginal Mom as a way to share some of the great ideas I’ve come across that I may or may not get around to trying and blogging about. That way, maybe some of you will give them a try – and then you’ll have to let me know how it goes!
Check out our first Original Friday features!
DIY Sofa Table from Turtles and Tails
This is such a great solution for where to put down your drink or plug in your laptop when you’re sitting in the middle of a big sectional sofas. And it looks great!
Onesie to Bubble Dress Refashion from Night Owl Corner
What a super cute way to recycle a onesie! And she also includes a tutorial on making a matching flower for a headband – love it!
DIY Herringbone Tray from It’s Always Autumn (guest posted to Eighteen 25)
It can be a piece of art, a photo background, or a tray – and it’s beautiful! I really love the color. This is one I really hope I get around to trying someday!

I hope you enjoyed our very first Original Friday. Be sure to let me know if you try any of these projects – I’d love to see how they turn out!

Thanks so much for featuring my onesie to bubble dress refashion! You will definitely have to try it — super easy and a great way to recycle outgrown onesies. I like your idea about Original Fridays. I too have way too many ideas I want to try than I will ever get to!
