Easter is coming! It’s later than usual this year (April 16), but it will still be here before we know it. And in some (highly uncharacteristic) advance crafting, I actually whipped up a fun little Easter shirt for my son!
I had seen a few variations of these “hopster” Easter shirts while browsing Pinterest and I thought they were so clever and cute! (Get it…it’s like #HIPster, but since he’s a bunny with hipster glasses and a hipster mustache, it’s #HOPster…heh, heh.) So, I decided to make my own version of the design and slap it on a shirt for my 2 year old. It took me less than 30 minutes!
SUPPLIES I USED:
- Toddler Raglan Baseball Tee from Old Navy
- Flocked heat transfer material
- My crafty BFF Silhouette Portrait
After I put together my #hopster design in Silhouette Studio, I mirrored my image and cut it using the flocked heat transfer material settings.
I love weeding flocked HTV – it’s so easy!
Then I placed the HTV on the shirt, put a thin cloth overtop, and ironed it on with high heat and lots of pressure.
A few minutes later, I had a super cute shirt…
…for my super cute kiddo ;-)
Of course, he wasn’t super excited about posing for pictures. Though he’s already got the “angst-filled” model look down pretty well!
Either way, I think he’s pretty adorable!

So where is the file to download? I cannot locate it
Hi Roxanne, it’s in my free Silhouette Cut File Library. You can get the link and password emailed to you by signing up in the box above!
Do you have this SVG for Cricut?
Hi there, just wanted to let you know that I have updated my cut file library to include SVGs!
I signed up, and I tried to download the file but it would not let me open it. Is there another way you can send it?
Hi Nancy, did you have trouble getting the file to download or opening it once it was downloaded on your computer? It is a .studio file so it will only open with Silhouette Studio. Just trying to track down if it’s a tech problem on my end that other folks might be experiencing as well.
Hi is there a way to convert it to an SVG file??
Hi Eleasha, I believe there are methods to convert Silhouette files to SVGs with Inkscape…if you Google it I think there are tutorials out there. I’ve never tried it though so I’m not much help, sorry!
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve recently updated my cut file library to include SVGs :-)
Hi. I am super excited for this shirt! I did not receive the link in my email to access your library. Is there another way that I can do that?
Thanks!
Hi Elizabeth, it’s showing me that the confirmation email was sent to you at 8:12 am EST this morning – have you checked your spam/promotions folders? If you still can’t find it, send me an email and I’ll try to troubleshoot some more.
Can you send me this file please! Super cute!
Hi Liz, glad you like it! Instructions on how to get access to the cut file is in the blog post above.

Thank you sooooo much! This is so cute!
Help!! I received the confirmation email which then took me to where I put in the password. I put the password in and all the webpage does is reload. Thank you!
If the page is reloading that’s because the password is incorrect. People often have trouble when they copy and paste the password as it can add an extra space at the end, so try typing it in – it is case sensitive, with no spaces. Let me know if you still have trouble!
I signed up, downloaded this particular svg and it still won’t work in Design Space. Quite disappointed it’s a super cute design.
Hi Amey, I’m sorry you’re having trouble! I’ve never used Design Space so I’m sorry I can’t help you troubleshoot. I did just click through to verify that there’s nothing wrong with the SVG file itself, and I haven’t heard from any other Cricut users that it isn’t working. I hope you figure it out!

Hi,
I’ve entered my email and received your reply. I put in the password, (tried to copy and paste and type it in myself), but I cannot locate the file for the #Hopster svg. It keeps taking back to the post about it, but no link for the download. Super cute pics of your little guy, but no file!
Help!
Lisa
I just double checked and it’s definitely in the list of photos and links here: unoriginalmom.com/silhouette-library. Look for the photo of the shirt (you’ll need to scroll down a ways), and underneath are links to the .studio file and the SVG file!
