It’s Friday…which means more Handmade Christmas Inspiration is coming your way! Today, as the next installment in my Handmade Christmas: Inspiration for the Season series I decided to feature 30 creative and fun ideas for Christmas gifts in a jar. “Gift in a jar” ideas are all over Pinterest, and most of them are really easy to throw together. It’s like mini gift baskets – but a whole lot cuter. Because you up the cuteness factor by 200% just by putting it in a jar ;-)
Christmas gifts in a jar are a great way to do store bought gifts in a handmade way. You purchase all your jar contents, but by curating them together with a theme and wrapping them up in a jar with a pretty tag you’ve made it so much more personal. The ideas are really endless, too! Theme a jar with someone’s favorite sports team, a hobby or activity, favorite food, favorite location, etc, and you’ll have a gift they’re sure to love. Or you can do an edible gift like homemade treats, cookie/cake/muffin mixes, drink mixes, or even ingredients for homemade soup! Plus gifts in a jar are easy to make in bulk – buy a bunch of jars and packaging material at one time and fill one for each person on your gift list.
Are you thinking about hand making some – or all – of your Christmas gifts this year? It’s a great way to save money AND give personal, meaningful gifts to your loved ones. Win-win! Get all the tools and tips you need to be successful in my eBook, 7 Steps to a Handmade Christmas. You found the very best ones…no, wait, you made these up all by yourself. I’m so impressed and plan on using these ideas for Christmas. Thank you sooooooooooooo much!
I’m so glad you found some great ideas on this list, Grace! I can’t take credit for any of them, all I did was put them together in a post :-) Aren’t they wonderful ideas? I’m having trouble picking just one or two to try, I want to try them all!
I am not finding the “Taco Soup in a Jar” recipe. I see the picture with cans of beans, tomato, an onion, taco seasoning, and corn. But I don’t know if there is something else?
Oh bummer, it looks like the blog where I found that idea to has changed her blog post not to include that jar anymore :-( I can’t seem to track it down either. I would guess that you could look up any kind of taco soup recipe and just include the ingredients & recipe in a big jar like that, though!
