Welcome to my Silhouette Project Gallery!

If you’ve been around unOriginal Mom for any length of time, you’ll have figured out that I love, love, LOVE my Silhouette!! I owned a Silhouette Portrait (aff link) for 4 years and then upgraded to a CAMEO 3 – I use my Silhouette ALL the time. You’ll find lots of Silhouette creations and tutorials on the blog…but if you’re interested specifically in Silhouette projects, I’ve compiled them all here for you into one big, master list! So grab a cup of coffee (or your favorite beverage) and browse around for a while.

[SIDE NOTE: What is a Silhouette? The Silhouette Portrait and CAMEO are digital craft cutting machines, similar to a Cricut machine. They’re about the size of a printer, but they don’t actually do any printing. The basic idea is that these machines have tiny little blade that moves back and forth while it uses rollers to feed your material in and out, so it can precisely cut just about ANY shape or design out of tons of different kinds of materials – paper, card stock, vinyl, heat transfer vinyl, sticker sheets, fabric, cereal box cardboard, and lots more. Your Silhouette hooks up to your computer where you use a program called Silhouette Studio to design anything you can dream up. You can use any font loaded onto your computer, create basic shapes, or even trace shapes and images you find online. Once you’ve designed something – or purchased a pre-made design, if you prefer – you send it to your Silhouette and watch the magic happen.
