After making popsicle stick labels for my herb garden as my very first Silhouette vinyl experience, I decided to try my hand at some more labels – this time for my laundry room.
I got these green bins at the dollar store a while ago and have been using them as a catch-all for the random items on my laundry room shelf.
To help keep organized (and make them look prettier!) I used my Silhouette to cut out a label and lettering!
I already loved these glass jars from HomeGoods, but now that they have adorable labels on them, I love them even more!
Yay for being organized AND pretty! I’m so happy with how my laundry room labels turned out.
But guess what? The Silhouette goodness doesn’t end here! This post is part of the July Silhouette Challenge, and lots of ladies have linked up other fabulous projects they’ve been working on! Stop by these blogs for some more Silhouette inspiration:

Your labels are awesome Meredith! I love the font you used. And this is a silly question, but did you cut the letters out of white vinyl and put them on top? Or did you just cut them out of the black so the lid shows through? Either way, they look great! :)
Debbie
Thanks, Debbie! The letters are cut out of white, so they are on top of the black…I used transfer tape to put them on.
I was going to ask the same question! You can’t really tell that there is a second layer atop that black…it lays so flat! I have some bins I’m going to use to organize our front hall closet…you’ve inspired me to use my black and white vinyl to make labels for them. (They just look so profesh.) Thanks, Meredith!

At first I thought that you wrote the lettering yourself! I was totally amazed. I love that you cut out the lettering – so clever!
Meredith, this is AWESOME….So organized. Will you come to my house and do this? :o)

I love this!!! However, being new to this, what font did you use and where did you get the label template?
Hi Kim! The font is CF Jack Story (available for free here: http://www.dafont.com/cf-jack-story.font) and I believe the label is from the Silhouette Online Store. It is a great kind of project to get started with!
